The wilderness was almost my second home. From a young age, I walked the woods, bogs, and moors; roamed the mountains; and fished in creeks and lakes. It was a place where I could find solitude and where the burdens of everyday life were lifted from my shoulders. And it was the place where my imagination drifted to the most unexpected places.
